United Arab Emirates UAE has cleared air on restrictions on visas for Pakistanis as unofficial reports sparked concerns among those seeking job opportunities in Gulf nation.
As rumours were rife, Emirates turned down rumors circulating on social media about a visa ban on Pakistanis. UAE’s Consulate General, Bakheet Obaid Al-Roumi, shared a clip, in which he called these rumours fabricated.
‘UAE Visa Ban on Pakistanis’
UAE official clarified that there is no visa ban for Pakistanis, and the UAE consulate’s visa section remains open. Pakistanis are allowed to travel to the UAE for work visas, and there is no age restriction for entry, he further clarified.

Several internet users claimed that UAE stopped issuing visas to single Pakistani men under the age of 42, sparking widespread speculation. However, after a thorough investigation, it has been confirmed that this tweet is false.
Dubai has not announced any such visa restrictions for Pakistani nationals, and there is no ban on visit or work visas for single Pakistani men under the age of 42.
This incident is not isolated, as similar misinformation has circulated before. Last year, rumors spread that the UAE had halted issuing visit visas to residents of certain Pakistani cities.
