UAE Consul General, BakheetAteeq Al Remeithi spearheaded the inauguration of a state-of-the-art hospital in Larkana and a housing scheme for flood victims in Dadu.
The event, graced by Rashid Mubarak Al Mansoori, the General Secretary of UAE Red Crescent, highlighted the UAE’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s healthcare and humanitarian needs. Accompanied by Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, Consul General BakheetAteeq Al Remeithi and Red Crescent General Secretary Rashid Mubarak Al Mansoori toured the facilities, including the hospital’s OPD building and doctors’ hostel.
Al Mansoori praised the hospital’s modern infrastructure, emphasizing that patients would receive top-notch treatment free of charge. He also underscored the importance of addressing the housing needs of Sindh’s flood victims, affirming their right to shelter.
BakheetAteeq Al Remeithi reaffirmed the UAE government’s dedication to improving Pakistan’s healthcare sector, stating that the hospital and housing scheme were part of their commitment to alleviating the challenges faced by the people of Pakistan.
He emphasized the UAE’s awareness of Pakistan’s difficulties and its resolve to extend support where needed. Addressing students, Consul General BakheetAteeq Al Remeithi commended their role as the future leaders of Pakistan, encouraging them to seize opportunities for growth, such as the IT courses initiated by the Sindh Governor.
In response, Governor Kamran Khan Tessori highlighted the efforts of the IT University in training thousands of children, underscoring the importance of education and skill development for the nation’s progress.
