Two Indian soldiers killed, three injured in Shopian road accident

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two Indian soldiers were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Shopian district, today.

A cab carrying soldiers from Chowgam Camp of 44 Rashtriya Rifles was on its way to take part in a cordon and search operation in Badigam area of the district. The driver lost control over the vehicle and it skidded off the road at Kanipora leading to injuries to five troops.

The injured soldiers were shifted to District Hospital Shopian where two among them identified as Havaldar Ram Avtar and Sepoy Pawan Gautam succumbed while three others were evacuated to 92 Base Army Hospital Srinagar.

Meanwhile, Indian troops martyred four Kashmiri youth during the cordon and search operation in Badigam.—KMS
