QUETTA – Police have arrested two suspects in a case related to raping, filming and threatening two sisters.
A first information report (FIR) of the case was registered at Quaidabad police station on the complaint filed by the mother of the victims under Sections 34 (common intention), 354-A (stripping woman of her clothes), 365-B (seducing or forcing of adults into illicit intercourse), 376 (punishment for rape), 376-A (disclosure of identity of victim of rape, etc), 496-A (enticing or taking away a woman), 503 (criminal intimidation), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 509 (violating modesty or causing sexual harassment) of the Pakistan Penal Code, media reports said.
The complainant told police that the suspects, who are also two brothers, had been forcing her daughters aged 19 and 16 into prostitutions after recording their nude video and photos.
She added that the suspects five days ago kidnapped her daughters, recorded their nude videos and later shared them on social media platforms.
The victims’ mother said that violence was also being meted out to the girls as it can be seen in the video. She has also submitted the footage as evidence to the police, seeking legal action against the culprits.
A police officer told media that the suspects were arrested on December 2, adding that many inappropriate videos of the girls were also recovered from their mobile phones and laptops.
The suspects were produced before the court which has sent them on physical remand for seven days.
