A comprehensive report titled “Türkiye–Pakistan Vision to Enhance Bilateral Economic Cooperation” was officially launched in Istanbul at a high-level event jointly organized by DEİK (Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye) and PwC Türkiye.

The report presents Pakistan as a promising destination for foreign investment, highlighting its expanding market, young and skilled workforce, and investor-friendly incentives.

The event was attended by Ambassador of Pakistan to Türkiye, H.E. Dr. Yousaf Junaid, Chairperson DEİK Türkiye–Pakistan Business Council Mr. Atilla Demir Yerlikaya, PwC Türkiye Regional Senior Partner Mr. Cenk Ulu, senior executives of leading Turkish multinational companies, and members of the DEİK Türkiye–Pakistan Business Council.

Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Dr. Yousaf Junaid outlined Pakistan’s notable economic stabilization under the current government, emphasizing improved currency stability, structural reforms, and business-friendly policies. He highlighted investment opportunities in livestock, dairy, renewable energy, and the housing sector, and encouraged Turkish companies to explore medium- and long-term partnerships in Pakistan by leveraging insights shared in the PwC report.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Atilla Demir Yerlikaya, Chairperson of the DEİK Türkiye–Pakistan Business Council, underscored the deep-rooted historical and fraternal relations between Pakistan and Türkiye. He described Pakistan as a welcoming and reliable destination for Turkish investors and pointed to the successful operations and expansion of several Turkish companies already active in Pakistan.

PwC Türkiye Regional Senior Partner Mr. CenkUlu, along with his team, presented the key findings of the report and highlighted the growing interest among Turkish businesses in Pakistan’s market. He noted that an increasing number of Turkish companies have approached PwC to conduct feasibility studies and comprehensive assessments for potential investments in Pakistan.

Following the report launch, a panel discussion was held featuring representatives from Anadolu Group, Arçelik, and Hitit Group. The panelists shared positive experiences of doing business in Pakistan, evaluated emerging investment opportunities, and praised the professionalism, skills, and global competitiveness of Pakistani talent contributing to their operations both locally and internationally.

The event reaffirmed the shared commitment of Pakistan and Türkiye to further strengthen bilateral trade, investment, and economic cooperation, paving the way for enhanced institutional engagement and private-sector collaboration in the coming years.
