Train derails near Jhimpir

The engine and three passenger bogies of Rehman Baba Express derailed at the meeting station near Jhimpir in the Thatta district on Friday. However, no passenger was injured in the incident.

Edhi ambulances and volunteers were rushed to the spot, but no casualties were reported, an Edhi official said. The train was transporting passengers from Peshawar to Karachi. The cause of the derailment is still not known. The accident caused the suspension of train service for three hours on that part of the down track.
