A girl maid, tortured allegedly by her master in a video on the social media, showed up at the Madina Town Police Station.
In her statement at the police station, she said she was beaten up over a fight among children. About reconciliation, she said neighbours got her reconciled with her master as her parents are residing in Sahiwal. About her appearance at the police station, the SHO said there was no resistance from her masters. “We rang and the child is here,” he said. After the video of torture went viral, the District Child Protection’s Sara Ahmed took notice and police registered the case on her complaint.
