Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that there is no disagreement in the PDM on the issue of resignations, all parties are on the same page. The meeting in Lahore will be historic. Talking to media after meeting Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Jatiya Amira, he said that the government is scared of the movement, therefore the opposition is dreaming of splitting the alliance.
Bilawal Bhutto further said that the party would consult the ECC regarding the resignations. He claimed that no long march in the history of Pakistan has been as successful as that of the PDM. The Lahore meeting will be historic. Imran Khan used to threaten us, now he says that I am ready for talks with the opposition.
On this occasion, Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that the person who had been saying for the last three years that he would not give NRO is today asking NRO from PDM. In the meeting with Bilawal Bhutto, the next plan of PDM was discussed. The PDM decided to adopt an aggressive strategy on the government’s response to the meeting. Security of Minar Pakistan rally was handed over to MSF and JUI-F workers.
According to PDM sources, the government has decided to give a strong response in case of attack on Minar Pakistan. The security of the venue will be ensured by the Pakistan Democratic Movement. In this regard, security will be the responsibility of JUI, PML-N and PPP. Key roles will be played by JUI-F, PML-N’s Sher Jawan Force and MSF.
According to sources, in case of any obstruction from the government, the central leaders of PDM will reach Minar Pakistan immediately. Government measures will be responded agressively on the spot.
