People in Pakistan and in the northern half of the planet experienced longest day of year as the north pole is tilted closest to sun. After June 21, days will slowly shorten in phenomenon, known as summer solstice.
Summer Solstice is change of seasons and occurs two times per in year, indicating the longest and shortest days.
In part of Earth that is north of Equator, summer solstice falls on June 20 or 21, while in the Southern Hemisphere, it occurs in December. Countries in Northern Hemisphere, including Pakistan, India, US, UK, Canada, China, and Australia.

Summer solstice is being marked with different cultural event globally. In India, the day is being celebrated as Yoga Day. At England’s Stonehenge, a monument aligned with the summer solstice, thousands gather annually to welcome the start of summer.
Despite the extended daylight, the summer solstice is not the hottest day of the year due to seasonal changes, the hottest days usually occur several weeks later. In parts of world, the summer solstice is known as Midsummer, and it is often associated with fertility festivals and celebrations of the harvest.
