Thunderstorm, rain likely

Islamabad—Rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places in Malakand, Hazara division and Kashmir while hot and dry weather to prevail in other parts of the country during the next 24 hours. Weak seasonal low lies over north Balochistan and its adjoining areas. A shallow westerly trough is affecting northern parts of the country.
In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, light rain occurred in Murree and Kakul. Meanwhile, Karachi Met Office on Thursday forecasted partly cloudy weather in the metropolis during the next 24 hours. It said the maximum temperature is expected to remain in the range between 31 to 33 degrees centigrade with 60 to 70 per cent humidity.
The weather report said hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over the province however partly cloudy or cloudy weather is likely to prevail along the coastal belt.—APP
