Three girls, said to be sisters, were electrocuted whereas their mother and younger brother sustained severe electric shocks, on Friday. The incident occurred when their taking a bath at their house situated in Mohallah Sheikhan Wala in Layyah district.
According to a private TV channel, the incident occurred as the children were bathing in their house, during which they got electric shocks from a water motor. Resultantly, two sisters died on spot. Whereas another was shifted to District Headquarter Hospital Layyah, where she also breathed her last.
The mother and younger brother got severe electric shocks during attempt to rescue the girls. The girls are indentified as 8eight-year-old Alina Hashim, eight-year-old Meharun Nisa and five-year-old Ayat Akram, whereas their three-year-old brother Zulqarnain and mother got severe electric.
