Three LJ caught in IBO

The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) on Saturday claimed to have arrested three terrorists, belonged to the proscribed organization Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LJ).

The arrests were made during an intelligence-based operation (IBO). According to a private Tv channel, the arrested terrorists were planning targeting Muharram Majlis and offices of the intelligence agencies.

The LEAs carried out the operation in Chobacha Phatak in Dharampura area of the City following a tip-off. The terrorists were identified as: Rizwan, Abdul Qayyum and Muhammad Arif.

The Counter-Terrorism Department of Punjab police also recovered two hand grenades, pistols and other items, had to be used in terror activities, from possession of the terrorists.
