Three dead as vehicles smash in Sibbi


Three people died and two others injured when two vehicles collided due to thick fog in Sibbi on Sunday. According to details, a collision occurred between a poultry van and a Mazda van near Lamji, Sibbi following a dense fog that was engulfing the area. As a result, three people were killed on the spot while two others sustained serious injuries.

Rescue and Levies officials sent the dead bodies and injured to the Civil Hospital, Sibbi. Separately, two people including a woman were killed in fog-related traffic accidents in Arifwala.

Reportedly, a tractor trolley crashed into a motorcycle on Hota Road, killing a man on the spot and injuring two others. The deceased was identified as Akraam.

In another incident, a mini-truck ran over a woman on Tarkhani Road in Arifwala due to low visibility. The woman who was identified as Fatima was succumbed to her injuries.
