On the occasion, a message of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was read out to the devotees wherein he appealed to them to celebrate Eid with simplicity. He urged people to remember the poor, needy and disadvantaged people of society on the august occa-sion.

The Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid Srinagar ex-pressed strong resentment against his illegal detention and urged the Modi regime to change its dictatorial attitude and release him on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.

The Anjuman said that the Eid prayers would be offered after three years at Jamia Masjid Srinagar at 09:00 am, tomorrow.—KMS
