Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori expressed a keen desire to boost investment and trade with Indonesia, encouraging Indonesian investors to take full advantage of the province’s potential. He assured that all necessary support and cooperation would be extended to investors.
The governor made these remarks during a meeting with Indonesia’s Acting Consul General, TeguhWiweko, at the Governor House. During the meeting, the Acting Consul General invited Governor Tessori to attend a ceremony marking Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day. The two discussed bilateral relations, investment opportunities, trade growth, and other key matters. Governor Tessori highlighted that Sindh’s attractive sectors, coupled with its highly educated and hardworking youth, provide ideal conditions for investment.
He emphasized that it is time to fully capitalize on bilateral relations, with an increased focus on trade with Indonesia, which could significantly strengthen ties between the two countries. TeguhWiweko praised the longstanding relationship between Indonesia and Pakistan, expressing his nation’s desire to see Pakistan prosper and achieve economic stability. He also commended the initiatives underway at the Governor House, including IT courses, ration drives, and the Umeed Ki Ghanti (Bell of Hope), calling them inspiring steps towards positive change.
