Governor Sindh Mohammad Kamran Khan Tessori, has penned a letter to the Chairman of the National Highway Authority (NHA), proposing the diversion of heavy traffic onto alternative routes to alleviate increasing traffic congestion issues in the city. The letter suggests directing heavy traffic, including trucks and trailers, onto the Lyari Expressway.
In the letter, Governor Tessori emphasized that such a measure would provide relief to citizens from heavy traffic, saving them time and fuel. Additionally, he highlighted that this step could also alleviate traffic jams, urging serious consideration of diverting heavy traffic onto the Lyari Expressway.
