Governor Sindh, Mhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, announced the launch of a “Low-Cost Housing Scheme” under the Governor Initiatives, aimed at benefiting middle-class families. This scheme will be implemented in collaboration with renowned builders in the province, with the goal of providing affordable housing to underprivileged individuals. The announcement was made by Governor Tessori during a media interaction at the 40th anniversary celebration of Saima Group of Companies.
He stated that the residents of the province are facing significant economic and social challenges. In response, the government is set to launch a housing project specifically for middle-class families, offering them affordable homes within their budget. He further emphasized that consultations with various stakeholders will be held to ensure the scheme directly benefits the public. Governor Tessori also reiterated his commitment to restoring the vibrancy of Karachi and ensuring the overall development of the province.
Governor Sindh, Mhammad Kamran Khan Tessori highlighted several ongoing initiatives at the Governor House, including providing modern IT courses to 50,000 students, a free laptop scheme, ration distribution for the needy, Hope Bell, a motorbike distribution scheme, and financial assistance for both small and large-scale businesses. Earlier, Governor Tessori also attended the 40th anniversary event of Saima Group at Saima Green, near Jinnah Terminal, where he cut a cake to mark the occasion. The event was attended by builders and other prominent personalities.
