HAFIZ Saeed has reportedly been indicted by Pakistan’s Anti-terrorism Court in pursuance of its National Action Plan against Terrorism; something one has heard a number of times, since the man known for his vibrant support of the Kashmir cause has been arrested half a dozen times before due largely to what is termed as international pressure after the banning of Lashkar-e-Tayyaba; a religious group he once led, and released each time by the country’s judiciary for lack of evidence. Unsubstantiated accusations against him by India blindly supported by the US had led to the proscribing of LeT by the UN allegedly for masterminding the Mumbai attacks in India, but actually stung by Hafiz Saeed’s resolute support to the freedom struggle in India-occupied territory of Kashmir. While Mumbai from all international accounts turned out to be a self-staged Indian act, the US has acted blind to the Indian mayhem in the State and conveniently confused support for freedom struggle of the people of India-occupied Kashmir from Indian tyranny, with terrorism.
Double standards of Washington in placing Pakistan among nations restricting religious freedom have been magnified by its unpardonable omission of India over which the so-called civilized world also continues to turn a deaf ear and a blind eye; among others to the Indian Citizenship Act exclusively barring Muslim eligibility being widely protested by millions taking to the streets across India, Kangaroo Indian courts turning down all appeals challenging the discriminatory Act and the verdict authorizing building of a Hindu Temple in place of the historic Babri Mosque destroyed by RSS goons, hushing up the Gujarat at massacre of Muslims and burning alive of Pakistani Muslims aboard Samjhota Express.
False implication of Hafiz Saeed in the Mumbai attacks has been lucidly exposed by Elias Davidson in his 900-page Book titled ‘Betrayal of India” as a patent Indian inside job in which he suspects US involvement which he accuses of also self-staging the 9/11 twin-tower episode; the Indians taking clue from it and designing its own. Davidson ascribes several objectives achieved by India by orchestrating Mumbai attacks, which include getting its Defence budget alarmingly enhanced, causing a huddle to unite India against the phony threat of terrorism resulting in boom in the security industry and boosting political base of BJP, besides eliciting increased proximity with Israel and the US. Davidson agreed with an interviewing team quoting neutral observers that it was also designed to get Pakistan declared a terrorist State by the UN.
The trouble with the Imperial Camp it seems, is the scare of an all-out Islamic Jehad if and whenever so declared, which is the believer’s holy war in the name of the Almighty against the forces of evil in which it has never failed; some world powers in recent history having already tasted a bit of it in Afghanistan and still nursing its aftermath. Added to the list of imperial watch-dogs such as the IMF, World Bank and ADB etc applying economic stranglehold mainly of marked Islamic nations, is the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) labelling terror funding over them and keeping them busy fending, which are ploys of the Imperial Camp calling wolf, while themselves being the worst offenders. The United States of America heads the list of countries which have sponsored terrorism at State level in the guise of Non-governmental Organizations which it directly funds all over the world to carry out subversion besides its army of security operators pitching not only nations against each other but also among themselves making inroads in their ranks particularly Muslims, toppling Governments as a declared State policy through its officially mandated CIA, and in the process selling them its lethal military merchandise.
Vietnam to start with from which it has learnt no lessons, has been followed by Iran, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Syria and Afghanistan where it has pumped tons of money. Imperial attempts to effect a social change by making ingresses into the Afghan society and showcasing cosmetic transformation of its women to modernity, though has miserably backfired along with its pretended successes in the unwinnable Afghan war exposed by the Washington Post Report summing up the costly American miscalculation in the words of Douglas Lute White House major domo during Bush and Obama Terms of Office saying,” We were devoid of a fundamental understanding of Afghanistan.” This is besides Pentagon confessions from several Generals who served in the most miscalculated American war theatre. Raising and using proxies such as Al-Qaeda, Tehreek Taliban Pakistan, Daesh and the phony holy warriors of Islam styled as the ISS, using them within and against the Islamic world has been the American weapon for the last nearly three decades butchering a whole generation of mankind. It has pumped trillions of dollars into Operation ‘Desert Storm’ in the Middle East and the Afghan war theatre initially against the Soviets and now in the name of NATO assault apparently to hunt out their once blue-eyed Usama Bin Laden, but actually seeking to gain a foot-hold in the Afghan gateway to the oil and mineral wealth of Central Asia.
Israel has demonstrated it in its war on Muslim nations particularly the Arab world while aiding and abetting India which is aping the US; spending tons of money raising Mukti Bahini which consigned millions to mass graves while severing Pakistan’s eastern wing of which it makes no secret, and blatantly financing terrorism across neighbouring Pakistan evidenced by its serving naval officer Kalbhoshan Yadev now awaiting death sentence in Pakistan custody. If pumping money into war theatres warmed by the US, Israel and now India funding State-sponsored butchery and rape in occupied Kashmir is not Terrorism what else is, and how come that the UN and the majority of so-called superpowers and their lackeys are blind to this orgy, also blissfully blind to the fact that the Mightiest of all will ultimately one day, hold them all accountable; only that it will by then be too for repentance.
