Pakistan team management has provided an update on Shahnawaz Dahani’s injury and Mohammad Rizwan’s MRI report.

The 24-year-old had suffered a suspected side strain injury while bowling during a match against Hong Kong in Sharjah on Friday. He was ruled out of the match against India too. According to details, the pacer has shown significant improvement and the medical team is continually monitoring him.

Meanwhile, Rizwan underwent an MRI scan earlier today as he suffered the strain after making a risky landing on his right leg while behind the stumps in a match against India. The MRI will act as a precaution since the player continued despite the injury and scored a fantastic 71-run knock.

His scan will be compiled tomorrow, after which decisions will be made. Presently, he is going well.

Pakistan will now take on Afghanistan on Wednesday, September 7, at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
