Taliban attacked Pul-e-Khumri city in the northern province of Baghlan a day after they attack the neighboring Kunduz city.
Taliban militants attacked Pul-e-Khumri city, the center of the northern province of Baghlan, early hours of Sunday morning and clashes are ongoing on the outskirts of the city, TOLO news reporter Sharif Amiry who is in city, said. The attack started at 1 am local time, Mr. Amiry said, adding that “residents said that some people who were close to the fighting scene are leaving their homes and traffic is not normal in these areas.”
