Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Talal Chaudhary has claimed that Imran Khan would not have been Premier “if application of justice was being done fairly”.
Reacting to statement of Special Assistant on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan, Talal Chaudhary said: “If justice was applied with the same scale for all, then Aleem Khan would have been in jail instead of giving mere fine for her illegal properties. Similarly, Jahangir Tareen would also be in jail for money laundering”.
He added that those who dug the metro project of Rs1 billion in Peshawar should be behind bars and those who attacked parliament wouldn’t be prime minister if everyone was being subjected to same sort of justice.
Earlier, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Maryam Nawaz wishes to get rid of G.T. Road traffic after failure of workers convention and corner meeting at Mandi Bahauddin.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday had announced that she will carry out rallies across the country to demand “rule of law”.
Dr Firdous mocked Maryam Nawaz, saying “those born with a silver spoon in their mouth cannot do struggle, but only frame forgery”.
She added that Prime Minister Imran Khan was voice of the people. She tweeted: “Their pain is eating them away that how can they not be above the law? Public, rejecting the looters, handed governance to such leadership which will put county onto the track of progress and bright future”.—INP
