Table service resumes in hotels, restaurants from today

The Sindh government has allowed the resumption of commercial and business activities in the province under rules and regulations from Monday, August 10, in the light of decisions taken at the federal level.
Before the decision is implemented, a task force of the Sindh government headed by the Sindh Chief Minister will review the situation of the Coronavirus in the province and a final decision will be taken keeping in view the current situation.
Explaining the decisions to be taken in the task force meeting on Saturday, the Sindh Chief Minister’s Spokesperson said that from Monday, table service will be allowed in hotels and restaurants and people will be allowed to sit and eat there. Hotels and restaurants will be open until 10 p.m.
Meanwhile Inter-provincial and inter-district transport had been allowed to commute under strict adherence of government’s standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The notification also stated that the presence of hand sanitizers must be ensured inside buses and coaches and all passengers must be check for fever before boarding.
It is pertinent to mention here that the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan has jumped to 132,405 after detection of record 6,472 new infections in last 24 hours.
