ISLAMABAD – The trophy of the ICC T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to being in June, arrived in Islamabad as part of Pakistan tour.
The trophy was taken to various locations, including D-Chowk, Faisal Mosque, and Pakistan Monument, in a double-decker bus. Officials from the PCB and ICC were also present on the occasion.
A photoshoot of the trophy was held at Pakistan Monument, where a large number of cricket enthusiasts were present on the occasion. A large number of citizens also took pictures with the trophy, reflecting the immense passion for cricket in the city.
After Islamabad, theT20 World Cup trophy will be taken to Abbottabad and Lahore, where the unveiling ceremony will take place at the Gaddafi Stadium on April 27 when final match between Pakistan and New Zealand is scheduled.
After completing the tour in Pakistan, the trophy will then travel to India.
