The 1st meeting of faculty of School of Dentistry was held the other day in Syndicate Room of the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), Islamabad.
The Vice Chancellor, SZABMU Prof Dr. Tanvir Khaliq, chaired the meeting. The Registrar, Prof. Nadeem Akhter, the Controller of Examinations, Prof. Tariq Iqbal, The Principal SoD, Prof. Ansar Maxood and all HODs were present there. All newly appointed Faculty members were warmly welcomed by the chair. Prof. Ansar Maxood briefed that the School of Dentistry (SoD) is a premier HEC funded project of the University.
It is a 125 dental seated state of the art dental teaching Hospital. Prof. Tariq Iqbal appreciated the efforts of Prof. Tanwir Khaliq and his team especially Dr. Ansar Maxood to complete the project in time. He emphasized the faculty members to develop their skill in accordance with modern era. Meanwhile a committee headed by Prof. Shahab Uddin, has been constituted to develop an updated lib-rary.
The agenda items were presented to the house for discussion and the decisions were finalized accordingly. The monogram of School of Dentistry has been released.
