On the special directions of the chief minister of the Punjab, ‘Suthra Punjab’ Cleanliness Campaign has been launched in district Hafizabad.
Deputy Commissioner Sundas Irshad inaugurated the ‘Suthra Punjab” Cleanliness Campaign from heart of the city Darbar Road, on Thursday. Administration Municipal Committee/ADCR Imtiaz Ali Baig, Chief Officer MC Ansar Sahi and other officers were also present on this occasion.
DC said on the occasion that on the direction of the Chief Minister of the Punjab Maryum Nawaz Sharif started special cleanliness has been started under ‘Suthra Punjab Cleanliness Camping in the district Hafizabad which would be prove revolutionary and ideal campaign on its nature.
She said that under a comprehensive plan, the city Hafizabad was divided into seven union council and all sanitary workers of MC would work for four days in each union council continuously besides their routine work. She said that she herself would monitor pace of work on ‘Suthra Punjab Cleanliness Campaign on daily basis. She said that this campaign had been started in PindiBhattian, SukhekiMandi, JalalpurBhattian and other areas of the district. She warned the officers and sanitary workers of Municipal Committees that any negligence and lethargic attitude would not be tolerated and defaulters would be faced the strict action.
