Support govt to fight out corona, Sarwar urges people

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar has said that determination and resolve like war against enemy is needed to fight out coronavirus.
China is stood by Pakistan however we also have to fulfill our responsibilities and 220 million Pakistanis have to stand as rock-solid against corona. People must support the government and health professionals by adopting anti-corona measures and they should ‘stay contained and remain safe’ and defeat dreadful virus.
He expressed these views while talking to the media after having a meeting with PPMA delegation comprising Chaudhry Ansar and others, and receiving donation of masks, sanitizers and other protection instruments worth Rs 5 million from Pakistan Pharmaceutical Association (PPMA) at Governor House on Friday.
Sarwar Foundation’s Vice Chairperson Begum Perveen Sarwar was also present on this occasion.
He said Insha Allah, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the entire nation will jointly beat corona. Sarwar advised the people to stay home and do not go out to get infected from corona, adding that if people stay home then no doubt like China we also will win corona war in Pakistan.
Every Pakistani will have to fulfill his/her responsibility and there should not be any laxity in adopting anti-corona measures.
Federal and Punjab governments are fulfilling their responsibilities but unfortunately the opposition instead of giving its positive inputs on corona issue is adhering to policy of criticism that is in no way justified and the opposition while setting aside its political interests must play a positive role in this difficulty.
Today, China is stood by Pakistan however people from all segments of society will have to take coronavirus threat as serious.
People must support the government and medical staff by following advisories and guidelines to prevent themselves from corona hazards.
Government is with the people and will not leave them alone at any cost, he said and added that war against corona is not the war of an individual, party or the government but has become war of Pakistan.
