Superior University Rector honoured with Governor’s Award

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar, on behalf of the Governor of Punjab, conferred Governor’s Award on Rector of Superior University Dr Sumaira Rehman for introducing reforms in the field of education for development and promotion of higher education.

The award is a testament to Dr Sumaira Rehman’s unparalleled services for educational development in Pakistan.

Dr Sumaira Rehman’s vision is that in order to make students financially self-sufficient, it is necessary to create market ready graduates to promote personal business and make the best career.

For this, the “Entrepreneurship Teaching and Development Program” was introduced for the first time in Pakistan from the platform of “Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Centre for Entrepreneurship Development” at Superior University to impart practical career life training to the students.

At the same time, Dr Sumaira Rehman is taking important steps for the empowerment of Pakistani women.

In Pakistan, women make up more than half of the population. To make them economically independent, Dr Sumaira Rehman has launched a number of programs.
