Chief Executive Officer Health Dr. Fareha Akram Malik directed the Medical Superintendent Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Pindi Bhattian to ensure provision of medicines and other treatment facilities free of cost to patients available in the hospital under the people friendly vision of the Punjab government while negligence, slackness or laziness in providing healthcare would not be tolerated. She expressed these views while visiting the hospital. MS Dr. Athar Majeed was also accompanied by her.
She inspected emergency, outdoor, indoor, operation thither, X-Ray room and other wards and reviewed provision of medicines and other treatment facilities to patients. She tool feedback from patients and their attendants regarding availability to medicines and treatment facilities in the hospital.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Umer Farooq Warraich said that 172000 bags of 10 kg have been distributed among deserving families in the district so far and number of counters has also increased to 350 at 15 flour distribution points in the district for easiness of the people and for avoiding rush at the points. While visiting different points in the district, he said that tow bags of 10 kg were being given to registered poor people and supply of flour at points was also enhanced.
Meanwhile, Administrator Municipal Committee/ ADCR Hafizabad Imtiaz Ali Baig said that filters of all water filtration plants in the city have been changed to ensure provision of pour water to citizens. He said that MC Officers were deputed to monitor water filtration plant and ensure timely change of filters and repair work so the people of the city.
