Suicide attacks: Cause of concern

TERRORISM in Pakistan is on the rise again. There have been several attacks in parts of the country, especially in Karachi.

These acts of terrorism are a conspiracy to discredit Pakistan globally and through these incidents an attempt is being made to give the impression that Pakistan is not a peaceful country at all while the continuation of these new acts of terrorism is a matter of concern for the government, there is also a need to take a serious look at the gaps in the security agencies.

There is no doubt that the Pakistan Army has broken the back of terrorists by conducting successful operations under the National Action Plan but with the passage of time, the remnants of terrorists have begun to reorganize and once again give the impression from their terrorist activities that they can carry out terrorist acts anywhere they want, to get rid of this impression, it is necessary to reconsider national action plan against terrorists to remove the weaknesses in it and make it more effective with the remnants of terrorists and their facilitators could be wiped out.

There is no denying the fact that the fabric of most terrorist incidents comes from the northern regions, where terrorists have set up their safe havens, while their facilitators are also present in various cities.

These facilitators or sleeper cells are leading to the success of terrorist activities. It is not impossible to get rid of the scourge of terrorism unless the facilitators are wiped out from the country.

The hand of foreign elements cannot be ignored in the new surge of terrorism which has been in pursuit of dissonance with the security of Pakistan since day one.

Undoubtedly, the external forces are daring to take action due to internal disturbances in the country.

The growing political turmoil in the country has given the enemy an opportunity to take full advantage of the situation and weaken Pakistan.

It is propagandizing against Pakistan through its media while on the other hand it is sponsoring terrorist activities by reinforcing terrorists.

Evidence of this has been given by Pakistan many times in international forums but the international community despite knowing everything remains a silent spectator.

It is very unfortunate that the world has solid evidence of such illegal and inhumane crimes of foreign forces, yet no practical steps are being taken by the international community, including the United Nations, against these terrorist acts of foreign forces.

Encouraged by this like a rogue elephant, it is trampling on human rights in the Kashmir Valley and on the other side, it is backing the terrorists at the risk of peace in the region.

Unless effective action is taken against India at the international level, especially by the United Nations, India will not be on the right track.
