Volunteers from Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) and the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) came together to celebrate World Wildlife Day by removing invasive plant species from the Margalla Hills National Park.

During the event held on Sunday (March 03), 66 students from various departments of QAU, under the Plantarian Association, participated in the practical activity. They cleared widespread invasive species like Lantana camara and Brossunatiapapyrifera from Trail 4 of the park, supervised by Dr. ShujaulMulk Khan, an Associate Professor of Ecology, and IWMB volunteers.
