Children of the Pre-Junior and Junior Sections of The City School’s Capital Campus Islamabad showcased impressive talents and performance during an Annual Day event on Saturday, providing them with a refreshing break from their daily routines.
The Day featured a number of interesting events including tableaus, display of creative skills, songs and other entertaining performances by students. Speaking on the occasion, Headmistress Pre junior Section of Capital Campus, The City School Hooria Niazi said main objective of the event was showcasing the skill set of our students that they develop through interactive learning strategies. Today is all about them, their talents in various areas such as music, dance, drama, and public speaking, fostering confidence and creativity.
The Headmistress, who was also remained as Education Coordinator in Hamza Army Public School and College Rawalpindi for more than 6 years, said that Annual Day function help in community engagement, which brings together parents, teachers, and students, fostering a sense of community and strengthening relationships. Organizing and participating in the annual function teaches students valuable skills like teamwork, time management, and event planning, she maintained. Seeing their peers perform confidently on stage can motivate other students to strive for excellence in their own endeavors.
Overall, Hooria Niazi said the annual function is a significant event that not only contributes to the holistic development of students but also promotes a sense of belonging and pride in the school community.
