Strong, stable Pakistan priority of coalition parties: Governor

Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman has said that a strong and stable Pakistan is top priority of the all coalition parties under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

He was talking to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Sindh leader Senator Nihal Hashmi who along with a delegation called on him at Governor House Lahore on Thursday.

During the meeting, key issues of national interest including the current economic and political situation of the country came under discussion.

Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Balighur Rehman said that the PML-N laid a network of motorways in the country during its tenures, while also took exemplary steps in the field of education and health.

He said that early elections were not in the interest of the country keeping in view the economic crisis that the country was currently going through. He said that a large part of the country has been affected by the flood disasters and the process of rehabilitation of the flood victims is still under way.

“We should play our role to bring political and economic stability in the country,” he added.

The Punjab Governor said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan and his team are struggling day and night to bring economic stability in the country.

The PML-N Sindh leader Senator Nihal Hashmi said the Premier Shehbaz Sharif has won the hearts of the people of Sindh by laying the foundation stone of the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway. He said that the efforts of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and his experienced team to get the country out of the economic crisis are commendable. Head Social Media team Sindh, Khurram Bhatti, Azam Baig and Afsar Ali Khan were also present in the meeting.
