A stolen vehicle was recovered by Islamabad capital police security division, a police public relations officer said.
He said that, following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, modern tablets were installed on the entry and exit of red zone and diplomatic enclave to make security more effective and efficient, a police public relations officer said.
He said that, the Islamabad Capital Police has activated the entry and exit system to make the security of the red zone and diplomatic enclave more effective adding that the modern android tablets have been linked with the Punjab excise and taxation department database.
Police officials deployed at Serena Hotel picket signaled a suspicious vehicle to stop and during the checking through an online system the vehicle was found wanted in Fir no. 1349 dated 11.06.2022 under section 381-A at Civil Lines police station Rawalpindi. NNI
