Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid visited the under-construction Child Block in Gangaram Hospital today.
On this occasion, Special Secretary Department of Specialized Health Care and Medical Education Muhammad Usman, Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Professor Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, MS Gangaram Hospital Dr. Athar, Ijaz Sheikh and C&W officers were there. Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid reviewed the ongoing progress of the under-construction Child Block at Gangaram Hospital.
Vice-Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Professor Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, Ijaz Sheikh and C&W officers briefed the Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid. She visited various departments including operation theaters.
Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that the mother and child block under construction in Gangaram Hospital Lahore will be completed on time.
State of the art mother and child hospitals are being built in different districts of Punjab.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that according to the vision of Imran Khan, the many state-of-the-art mother and child hospitals are being built in Punjab.
Health Dr. Yasmin Rashid added that the lives of thousands of mothers and children will be saved through mother and child hospitals in Punjab Inshallah.
The mother and child block under construction in Gangaram Hospital will be opened the public soon.
Dr Yasmin Rashid said that a network of new government hospitals is being laid in Punjab and 23 big government hospitals are also being built.
He said that the increasing population of Punjab.
In view of this, it is very important to build new and bigger government hospitals to provide better health facilities to the people.
The Provincial Health Minister also directed all the concerned officers to complete the under-construction Mother and child Block at Gangaram Hospital on time.
