Stage play ‘Shadi Na Karna Yaro’ highlights social issues

A stage play “Shadi Na Karna Yaro” to highlight social issues through dramatic performance was arranged by Punjab Council of the Arts in collaboration with Pakistan Artists Welfare Foundation on Sunday with aim to educate in social sector.
The play was written by M Aslam Bhatti and directed by Arshad Khan. Anjum Malik, Tehseen Jamal, Sawera Shahzadi, Jhalak Ali, Saima Khan, Anjum Abbasi, Raja Tahir, Shahzad Mughal gave tremendous performance.
The main theme of the play was the business of marriage bureaus. Director Punjab Council of the Arts Waqar Ahmed addressing at the occasion said that the Council always tried to raise awareness about social issues through performance. A large number of people from twin city thronged arts council to watch the stage play.
