Intensifying operation girft SSGC’s SS&CGTO team conducted a raid in different cities of Sindh and Balochistan. SSGC task force conducted raid in Mahessor Wadda a renowned village of District Khairpur Mir’s, on an Ice factory during yesterday midnight. The owner of Ice factory was stealing gas from direct supply line of SSGC. Miscreant buried 400 meter pipe in ground very cleverly. All equipment being used for stealing gas, including ruber pipes, clamps was taken in custody. FIR was registered against the culprits and further action will be taken against them. Another operation was carried out in Osta Muhammad an area of Balochistan where culprit was running Hotel on stolen gas. Owner of the Hotel Abdul Ghaffar Imrani illegally punctured of 4 inch dia SSGC’s main gas pipe line. Owner of the hotel was running 60 KVA heavy generator using for commercial purpose. All material or equipment’s were removed and claims will be lodged against the culprits accordingly. CGTO Chief, Brig. (R) Muhammad Abuzar says that SSGC is a national organization and gas is national asset, therefore no one will be allowed to steal gas which causes increase of UFG (Unaccounted for Gas). Further he added that operation against the gas thieves will be more intensified to bring miscreants to justice in future.
