Sr journalist, uncle of Tariq Saeed passes away

Maternal Uncle of Tariq Saeed, Resident Editor of Pakistan Observer, Mohammad Nawaz Siddiqui, who was also a senior Journalist and former News Editor Daily Mashriq, breathed his last Tuesday morning.

His funeral prayers were offered at Siddiqui Graveyard Hazarkhawani road in the evening. Large number of people including journalists, relatives, friends, and officials attend his last rituals.

He is survived by a widow, Son Mohammad Faisal Siddiqui of Sindh Bank, a daughter and grandchildren. He was father-in-law of a senior staffer of Wapda Salahuddin Qureshi.

His Rasm-e-Qul will be offered at his residence, Academy Town Canal road University on Thursday Nov 2 after Asr prayers. The staff of the Pakistan Observer, Peshawar office, has condoled with Tariq Saeed over the sad demise of his uncle and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in Jannatul Firdos and grant patience to mourners to bear the loss with fortitude.
