1st Womenhood & Spring Celebrations Week 2022 concluded here at the Univer-sity of Home Economics on 10th March, 2022. In the closing ceremony, certificates and shields were distributed among the students as well as administrative staff officials who played their part in organizing the event in an organized manner.
The women week celebrations continued for a period of 4 days from 7th – 10th March, 2022. The festival included a variety of sessions/programs i.e. Women Fashion Show, Cultural Show, Food Competition, Nutritional Camp, Tree Plantation drive, Theatrical Performances, Session on Skin Care, Session on Personality Grooming, Poster Competition and likewise.
The events were beautifully organized by the respective departments of University as well as Student Societies. An ample amount of renowned personalities i.e. Amjad Islam Amjad, Dr. Marghoob Hus-sain Tahir, Dr, Fakhar-ul-Haq Noori, Hami-da Shaheen, Syed Waris, Yasir Peerzada (Commissioner (FBR), Dr. Ali Kazmi (Re-nowned Dermatologist), Capt (R) Mu-hammad Usman, Commissioner (Lahore) and so many others graced the event with their presence.
