Director Excise and Taxation Fawad Iqbal has said that he is starting a special campaign for vehicle registration in Mardan region from tomorrow Thursday, which will continue till the end of this month. Citizens are requested to register their unregistered vehicles by the specified date. Action will be taken against unregistered vehicle owners after the specified date.
During a press briefing at Mardan Press Club on Tuesday, Director Excise and Taxation FawadIqbal said that on the special instructions of Minister Excise MianKhaliq, Secretary Fayyaz Ali Shah and DG AkmalKhattak, they are trying to achieve the target of 920 million across Mardan region. He said that one rupee registration scheme for vehicles from 660 cc to 1800 cc has been started since two years for the convenience of citizens.
This scheme will provide convenience to citizens as well as revenue to the government.
