Speakers in seminar stress upon the need to save environmental deteriorating situation caused by destruction of Indus delta, they said this while addressing study trip of first batch of the BS on coastal and marine sciences here in Sindh University in premises of Thatta campus on Thursday.
Director centre for coastal and deltaic studies, professor Dr Mukhtiar Mahar stressing upon the importance of marine research sciences for the coastal belt for students and presented his suggests on productive market and developing their expertise in coastal issued.
Dr Anila Naz professor from Fisheries department said there is dire need of research in fisheries and fish aquaculture because it contributes a lot in economy of Pakistan.
Dr Baradi said that due to climate change a large number of Marine biodiversity affected the coastal people so there dire need to bring qualified and trained youth forward as they can change the situation to save the coastal.
