Directorate of nursing opens a certificate-based training programme for the nursing teachers and instructors.
The programme would continue for a week and the participants will be awarded with certificates on completion of state of the art, modernized and scientific application of world standard methods ong the inevitable nursing branch of medicine.
The I augural session was opened by Sindh health additional secretary Maqsoof Kalhoro, the chief guest of the programme and WHO Sindh office Chief Dr Sara Salman.
In his inaugural speech, Sindh health additional secretary Kalhoro said that this learning opportunity is awesome for all nursing teachers. This workshop will definitely help the nursing teaching faculty to enhance their capacity and expertise in nursing profession.

Speaking on the occasion, EAS controller examination (CE) SNEB said that he would expect the participants will Realise their responsibility for Imparting and transferring the knowledge and skills they will acquire from this week long training session. Thus they will play their role in building up a class of highly trained professionals in the field of nursing and paramedics.
This transfer mechanism would spread this learning methodology to nursing teachers and as a chain reaction; students will pass on the same in future, added CE SNEB.
It is pertinent to mention that Sindh government has taken this initiative for the first time in Pakistan and this 2nd line Training of the trainers workshop on certificate course for nurse educators will revamp the nursing profession.
This week long training programme would continue at a local hotel in Karachi from May 24 till May 31, 2022.
During this training programme, experts will share their expertise, modern techniques and practical approach to dealing with ailing people.
Dr Didar Khan, Abdul Manan, Associate Prof. Alia Nasir, Dr Sumaira Punjwani had spread the practical training methods among the participants.
