Presently, Pakistan’s economy has been facing some serious kind of crisis which are aimed at uplifting the socioeconomic/political problems in the country. Outwardly, the government of Pakistan should overcome the economic crisis by promotion of small and medium enterprises. Therefore, the enterprises play a major role in economy. Thus, SMEs have been considering the engine of economic growth in both developed and developing countries; it has been uplifting the export revenues. Small and Medium Enterprises defined as the non-subsidiary, independent businesses which employ fewer than a given number of employees.
The enterprises have been contributing up to 60 percent of total employment and there share in the annual gross domestic product GDP is 40 percent. Correspondingly, SMEs are facing a lot of economic and political problems and threats of imported product, which slow down the progression of their contribution. Precisely, the government of Pakistan should be concerned to their problems and provide some financial assistance and subsidiary for betterment of national economy.
