LAHORE – Popular YouTuber Saadur Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai, made serious allegations of physical and verbal abuse by officials of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) during his 100-day detention in gambling app promotion case.
Ducky Bhai was arrested in August at Lahore airport by the NCCIA, who accused him of promoting illegal online gambling and betting apps through his platform. After being granted bail by the Lahore High Court on November 25, Rehman was not immediately released, remaining in official custody.
Not long after his arrest, controversy erupted within the NCCIA when Sarfraz Chaudhry, the Additional Director of the Lahore branch, was removed from his position in September. Reports suggested that Chaudhry was implicated in multiple controversies, including accusations of assaulting Rehman.
In his nearly hour-long video, Rehman recounted the events surrounding his arrest and detention, detailing his interactions with Chaudhry.

He alleged that Sarfraz Chaudhry verbally attacked him, questioning the source of his income. “He asked me, ‘Where does your money come from?’ I told him I earn it from YouTube, as I have eight million subscribers. He then accused me of corrupting young minds,” Rehman said.
Rehman further claimed that the situation escalated when Chaudhry allegedly slapped him multiple times, with the YouTuber losing count of the blows. He also alleged that the officials attempted to bribe him, offering to resolve the matter for a sum of Rs 70-80 million, which he said he could not afford.
Furthermore, Ducky Bhai issued an apology to the public following his release from prison, ending a 100-day period of silence.
In a heartfelt video posted to his YouTube channel, Ducky Bhai addressed his followers directly, expressing regret if his content had inadvertently contributed to any harm. “If anyone believes that this video is an attempt to justify the FIR against me, I truly apologize,” he said. He went on to add that he deeply regrets if any of his past uploads or promotions had a negative impact, whether intentional or not, and extended his apology to the entire nation.
“I’ve always aimed to entertain and offer fresh content to my audience,” Ducky Bhai explained. “If anything I posted unintentionally caused harm or any promotion I did had a negative effect, I sincerely apologize to everyone.”
The YouTuber also reassured his fans and the public of his commitment to the ongoing legal process. “I will fully cooperate with the judicial proceedings and respect whatever decision the court makes,” he affirmed, reiterating his willingness to comply with the law as his case moves forward.
