Six land grabbers held, IG Islamabad says elimination of land mafia top priority

Islamabad Police have apprehended six land grabbers during operation against land grabbing mafia in the Capital. Inspector General Police (IGP) Muhammad Ahsan Younas has said that elimination of land mafia is top priority.

A spokesman of Islamabad Police said that on Saturday, police received a call from a citizen that some land grabbers and their operatives are trying to occupy his land. SP Rural Zia Uddin directed DSP Koral to take instant action following which DSP, SHO Koral Muhammad Azeem Minhas along with team conducted raid and arrested six accused. Police team also seized weapons and Vigo vehicle.
