Provincial Minister for Irrigation Arshad Ayub Khan on Wednesday visited Siran Right Bank Canal Mansehra where he reviewed the quality and pace of development work on the project.
On the occa-sion, he said that with the completion of Rs 2.8 billion Siran Right Bank Canal project, a new era of progress and green revolution would take place in the area. The Minister informed that around 11872 acres of land would be irrigated through the project.
The Irrigation Department, he said, has initiated record projects for construction of small dams and canals through which abundant lands of the prov-ince are being brought under cultivation.
