Sindh province is embarking on a significant campaign to immunize more than 10.6 million children. Led by Chief Secretary Dr. Muhammad Fakhre Alam, the initiative involves 80,000 polio workers across 30 districts, ensuring comprehensive coverage. The drive, starting February 26, underscores the province’s commitment to eradicating polio, with an emphasis on high-risk areas. Additionally, tributes are paid to late polio worker Zahida Panhwar, who tragically lost her life while on duty in Naushahro Feroz.
