Sindh Taekwondo playing vital role in promoting sports



Sindh Taekwondo is playing a vital role in promoting sports in Sindh and attracting the youth of Sindh to positive activities. In this regard, Sindh Taekwondo organized a spectacular event called “Consulate General Republic of Korea” for under-14 (cadet), under-17 (junior) and over-17 (senior) male and female athletes from 20 to 22 May 2022. , M Siddique Memorial, Scout Gymnasium, Karachi. Men’s and women’s teams from all over Sindh province including Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpur Khas, Benazirabad and Larkana are participating in this championship. While two (2) men’s and women’s teams from Karachi are participating in the hosting duties, a total of 350 players are participating in the championship.Rehan Hashmi (Chairman Sindh Taekwondo and former Member National Assembly), Saleem Shah (Retired Wing Commander), Engineer Mahfooz ul Haq, Vice President Sindh Olympic Association were the special guests at the opening of the Championship.

Majida Hameed (President of Taekwondo Women’s Wing), Wajahat Taji Sahib, General Secretary of Aga Khan Community District Central, Imran Panjuani, General Environmentalist Shahrooz Siraj Sahib and others participated in the event and appreciated the talents of the players. Appreciating the efforts of Karachi Taekwondo and Sindh Taekwondo Officers and Organizing Team and Media Coordinator Kashif Ahmed Farooqui praised Sindh Taekwondo President  Kamran Qamar Qureshi, Secretary Nadeem Ahmed, Chairman ST Faraz Usman and Vice President Waqas Sheikh, in particular.

Congratulations on hosting such a wonderful event. In addition, Faraz Usman, Khaldun Raja, Noor Ahmad Abbasi, Matin Aziz, Ashfaq Ahmed, Fasihuddin, Javed Khalid and Ms.Afshan Shabbar, Sindh Coach Masroor Zaman were included in the organizing team of Sindh Taekwondo Event. Head Technical Officers Khurram Rasheed and his team appreciated the capabilities of the guest of honor and encouraged.
