On the directives of IG Sindh, Ghulam Nabi Memon, the Sindh Police has decided to send 100 of its band staff for specialized training at the Pakistan Navy School of Music. This decision was formalized by DIG Training Sindh, Faizullah Korijo, who sent an official letter to the Assistant Chief of Naval Staff for Training. Previously, in 2009, 85 members of the Sindh Police Band had also received training from the Pakistan Navy, enhancing their musical skills.

The upcoming training/refreshers course aims to improve the band staff’s performance during national events, such as passing-out parades, by refining their ability to play national songs and tunes. The course will enhance the staff’s overall capacity and skill set. The Pakistan Navy School of Music, with its vast experience and expertise both nationally and internationally, will provide an invaluable opportunity for the Sindh Police Band.
