KARACHI – The Sindh education department has made it mandatory to submit the father’s domicile while the requirement to present the student’s own domicile and PRC has been abolished.

The new condition imposed by the education department has caused great concern among parents and students.

An official told media that results of 5th and 8th grade are no longer required for admission to simplify the process, and students who have failed in two subjects in 9th grade are also being allowed to apply.

The condition of submitting the father’s domicile has forced citizens to make frequent visits to government offices, where many are facing difficulties in obtaining the required documents.

The public says that this new admission system has placed them in yet another test.

The admission process will continue until July 15, while merit lists will be displayed from July 22.

Students who fail to confirm their admission within the given time will have their names removed from the list, and the seat will be given to another candidate.
