Sindh govt to support strike call over gas crisis

Sindh government has announced to support the strike call of the business community over the Gas crisis. The Sindh Energy minister Imtiaz Sheikh contacted the leaders of FPCCI and KCCI over phone and assured them that government of Sindh supporting their strike. Imtiaz Sheikh said that federal government playing politics on Gas issue that damaged the country economy and foreign reserves.
Talking to Siraj Qasim Telli, Javed Balwani and Zubair Motiwala he said that the act of the federal government was unconstitutional and informed them that CM Sindh has written many letters to Premier of Pakistan and asked him to resolve the Gas crisis. He said PM admitted and assured that crisis would be resolved adding CM also raised the Gas issue in CCI but Islamabad overlooked it furthermore Sindh government supporting the business community strike call and assured them full cooperation.
He said the industrial sector, domestic sector and transporters worst effected due to Gas crisis. Later the Sindh minister contacted the Secretary Petroleum and Managing Director Sui Southern gas company and asked them to resolve the Gas crisis.
Two kidnappee release after an encounter: Shikarpur police once again succeeded in releasing two kidnapped Mazda Driver and its cleaner, who were kidnapped at Khanpur-Shikarpur Indus highway on 29th December of 2019 when who were heading to KPK from Mirpurkhas district to move Tomatoes, in the vicinity of Napar-Kot Police Station.
Dr Jameel Ahmed Khan, Additional Inspector General of Police Sukkur, through his twitter handle confirmed the release of both kidnapped namely Javeed and Ghulam Shabir Brohi, the driver and the cleaner, respectively through an ongoing operation carried out by Shikarpur Police.
